Instructions
  1. Soak dates in hot water for 30 - 60 minutes. (or overnight if they are pretty dry).
  2. Drain water from dates and add to food processor with peanut butter & coconut oil. Puree until creamy. A few chunks of dates are ok.
  3. Add hemp hearts and chia seeds and combine well. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Add turmeric, cinnamon, salt, cocoa powder and oats. Pulse until incorporated.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add vanilla. Process until a ball starts to form.
  6. Add chocolate chips and pulse until distributed throughout mixture.
  7. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls, and place on wax paper. Chill in the freezer for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
