1 can unsalted chickpeas, rinsed and drained well
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp each: Paprika, Granulated Garlic, Ground Cumin & Salt
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
In a large non stick frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. When the pan is hot, add chickpeas (use splatter screen to shield yourself!)
Toast chickpeas, tossing the pan occasionally to cook evenly. When chickpeas begin to turn golden yellow, sprinkle seasonings overtop. Continue to toss or stir the chickpeas occasionally. Chickpeas are done when they look slightly wrinkled, and spices start the blacken slightly (see photo). Enjoy on salad, or as a snack!
