2 cups Adams Natural Peanut Butter (salted)
1/2 cup Buckwheat Groats
1/4 cup Raw Sesame Seeds
1/4 cup Hemp Hearts
3/4 cup dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, etc)
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut
3 Tbsp Liquid, Unpasteurized Honey
1/2 cup quick oats
Generous sprinkle of turmeric & cinnamon
Optional: 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients very well. If too sticky to form balls, add
more oats until mixture holds together in a ball. (It will look like
cookie dough)
Roll into walnut-sized balls, place on parchment-lined cookie
sheet.
Chill until firm.
*To make into an “occasion-worthy” treat, melt chocolate chips
in a bowl. Dip bottoms of frozen peanut butter balls in
chocolate, and place back on cookie sheet. Keep refrigerated
until ready to eat. Freezes well. This recipe is not written in
stone. In fact, I had to watch Veronica make these and take
measurements because she just “eyes it out” while she’s making
them! *
