Chocolate Bliss Balls
< id="zlrecipe-ingredients-list">< id="zlrecipe-ingredient-0" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">8 Medjool Dates, pitted < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-1" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1/3 cup peanut butter (Adams is my fave) < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-2" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1 Tbsp Coconut Oil < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-3" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1/4 cup hemp hearts < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-4" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1 Tbsp chia seeds < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-5" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1/2 tsp each: turmeric, cinnamon, pink salt < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-6" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">3 Tbsp cocoa powder < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-7" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">3/4 cup quick oats < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-8" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1 - 2 tsp pure vanilla extract < id="zlrecipe-ingredient-9" class="ingredient" itemprop="ingredients">1/3 cup chocolate chips< id="zlrecipe-instructions-list" class="instructions">< id="zlrecipe-instruction-0" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Soak dates in hot water for 30 - 60 minutes. (or overnight if they are pretty dry) < id="zlrecipe-instruction-1" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Drain water from dates and add to food processor with peanut butter & coconut oil. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-2" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Puree until creamy. A few chunks of dates are ok. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-3" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add hemp hearts and chia seeds and combine well. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-4" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Scrape down the sides of the bowl. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-5" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add turmeric, cinnamon, salt, cocoa powder and oats. Pulse until incorporated. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-6" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add vanilla. Process until a ball starts to form. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-7" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add chocolate chips and pulse until distributed throughout mixture. < id="zlrecipe-instruction-8" class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Roll mixture into 1-inch balls, and place on wax paper.
