Are you in need of healing? Many of us manage our lives easily, on a day-to-day basis. When asked “How are you?” we respond with “good” or “fine”.
Many of us believe that there is nothing wrong with having an ordinary life and a regular routine.
Until we have a few days of feeling down, sad, frustrated, anxious or angry. It’s what I like to call “When shit hits the fan”.
Not original, I know.
When shit hits the fan, how do you handle these situations?
Do you dive a little deeper to ask yourself what’s really happening with you?
Do you busy or distract yourself until the feelings pass?
Why you Shouldn’t Ignore Your Bad Days:
When you consciously decide to ignore uncomfortable feelings, you are bottling up your emotions. You also suppress your deepest needs.
If you continue to hold these emotions inside, you are denying yourself the right to feel, essentially.

How One-to-One Healings Help:
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Reiki balances the energy in the body, and we can also use the energy to clear “blockages” – stored up emotions, tension or pain.
Some people fall asleep during a treatment. Some people may experience twitching or releasing in their physical body. And sometimes an emotional release takes place – from laughing to crying.
Reiki is Love & Light
To me, Reiki is, and always has been, Love & Light. I approach each session with a gentle and receptive energy so that my clients feel comfortable, loved and respected. I work to clear my own energy daily in order to be a pure vessel through which Reiki can flow.
Hands are placed either on the body, or hover slightly above the body, depending on the comfort level of the client. Clients report feeling a range of sensations, from tingling, to feeling warm, to deep relaxation. Treatments are done fully clothed.
When you receive Reiki, you will feel a comforting sense of well-being. Some people say they feel tingling sensations or warmth.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a form of foot massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet linked to every part of the body. Many people report sensations in other areas of the body while receiving reflexology, such as tingling, heat, or feelings of general well-being.
Imagine having your feet massaged for an entire hour – working out all the kinks and tenderness. Our feet are seriously undervalued for what they endure every day! If you’ve ever left a pedicure with pretty feet, but feeling like something was missing – you must try Reflexology!
What is Restorative Bodywork?
Restorative Bodywork merges the fields of restorative yoga and manual therapy, while integrating a study of the effects of stress on the nervous system.
Through the combination of myofascial release and restorative yoga postures, participants will learn to identify holding patterns, address movement restrictions and release soft tissue tension, in relation with postural alignment.
The teachings also focus on developing an eye for limiting breathing patterns and actual hands-on techniques to expand and free the breath. I took my training with Mylene Bergeron of Deep Flow.
